She was diagnosed with Tourettes Syndrome in late 2016. The first video featured in her library was from one year later and titled "What are my Tics? (Swearing) | Tourette syndrome."
She graduated from Timaru Girls High School in 2018.
She has a brother named Brennan Hawkins.
While she is known as Tourettes Teen on YouTube, actor Danny Six is known as Tourettes Guy.
