Named to Billboard's 2011 list of "21 Under 21," this hip hop artist released her debut album, Go! Pop! Bang!, in 2012. Her popular singles include "Boom Boom," "Bang," and "New Thing."
She started rapping in her mid teens and soon thereafter collaborated with hip hop artist and music producer Blaqstarr (Charles Smith) on her 2006 hit song "Shake It To the Ground."
She plays the supporting role of Jr. Jr. in the 2012 movie 21 Jump Street.
Born Ryeisha Berrain, she grew up in Baltimore, Maryland.
Singaporean-Nepalese-American fashion designer Prabal Gurung created numerous designs inspired by Rye Rye's style.
