He graduated from Waterford Mott High School in Waterford, Michigan. He later attended the College for Creative Studies.
He has served as a producer for eFM 90.5 Busan South Korea, the first English radio station in Busan.
He married Hyun Sook Kim. He has a brother named Gabe and a sister named Jill.
He worked with Kevin Allison on the podcast miniseries Big Data.
