Ruth Riley
Basketball Player
Former center who won the NCAA title with Notre Dame in 2001 and an NBA Championship with the Detroit Shock in 2003 and 2006. She became the Vice President of the WNBA Players' Union in 2005.
She played basketball, track and volleyball at North Miami Middle/High School in Indiana.
She published the children's book The Spirit of Basketball in 2005.
She has a brother and an older sister. Her mother's name is Sharon. She married football player Benjamin Hunter in January 2018.
She won the 2003 WNBA title alongside Shock teammate Cheryl Ford.
