British actor who became known for his role as Adam Carter in the TV series Spooks alongside Peter Firth. From 2009 to 2013, he portrayed DI Joseph Chandler in Whitechapel.
He briefly studied at Dulwich College. He debuted as a wild-looking young man in the 1994 film, Black Beauty.
He was in the UK show, Fatherland.
He had two children with actress Dervla Kirwan, whom he married in 2007.
He was on the miniseries, Treasure Island, alongside Elijah Wood.
