Rudolph Marcus
Chemist
A Canadian chemist who is best known for his work involving electron transfer reactions. He beams a member of the National Academy of Sciences in 1970.
He earned a Ph.D and B.S. from McGill University.
He won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1992.
He had three children with his wife Laura Hearne; the two were married from 1949 to 2003.
He and Ahmed Zewail are both Nobel Laureates in Chemistry.
