Famous for his critically-acclaimed portrayal of Keith Lau in the Hong Kong television series The Other Truth, he was also widely praised for his work in the TVB series Brother's Keeper. Also a singer, he contributed vocal tracks to many different television shows and recorded a 1998 single titled "Blue."
In his early and mid teens, he was a member of Hong Kong's national table tennis team. He later decided to pursue a career in the performing arts and began his training with the TVB network, making his television debut in a 1994 episode of Instinct.
He was nominated for a Starhub Award for his role as Kevin "Fit Wing" Ching in the TVB series Slow Boat Home.
The son of a firefighter, he spent his youth in Hong Kong. His relationship with Eunis Yiu lasted from 2007 until 2010.
He was cast opposite Aimee Chan in the romantic comedy series Outbound Love.
