Bangladeshi bowler who has represented his country at the Test, ODI, and T20I. With a Test bowling average over 70, he holds the dubious distinction of the worst average among players who've taken at least 10 wickets.
He made his first-class debut for Chittagong Division in 2007. After playing well in the National Cricket League, he was selected to play for the Bangladesh Under-19 team. He then went on to make his ODI debut in 2009.
He has received multiple Man of the Match Awards in ODI competition. He took his first five-wicket haul in Test cricket against New Zealand in 2010.
He was born and raised in Bagerhat, Khulna, Bangladesh.
He's played alongside Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, and Mustafizur Rahman on Bangladesh's national team.
