Roy Cohn

American attorney who rose to prominence during the Army-McCarthy hearings in 1954. He was also on the team that prosecuted Julius and Ethel Rosenberg for treason.
He graduated from Columbia College at the age of nineteen and Columbia Law School at twenty, but had to wait until he turned twenty-one to take the bar examination.
He resigned from Senator McCarthy's service and entered private practice, where he represented major public figures like Donald Trump, Steve Rubell, and Ian Schrager.
His parents were noted New York Democrats Dora Marcus and Albert C. Cohn.
He was theirly played by Al Pacino in the mini-series adaptation of Tony Kushner's play Angels in America.
