Ross Spano

This Republican politician took office in 2012 as a 59th-district member of the Florida House of Representatives, where he served on the Health Quality, Civil Justice, Judiciary, Choice and Innovation, and Higher Education and Workforce Subcommittees.
After receiving a history degree from the University of South Florida, he earned a law degree from Florida State University.
During his time in the Florida legislature, he fought on behalf of victims of human trafficking, authoring a bill that would de-criminalize actions committed by those being trafficked.
His marriage to Amie Spano resulted in four children: Isaiah, Kali, Caleb, and Vince.
He and Charles Canady both became high-ranking members of Florida's Republican Party.
