She received a BA in sociology from Georgetown University.
She has been a nine-time USATF Club National Track & Field Champion.
She has lived in Seattle, Washington. She married Tim Sinnett in September 2012.
She and gymnast Kacy Catanzaro have both made it to the finals of American Ninja Warrior.
