Argentine-born Mexican actress known for playing villain roles in telenovelas. She starred in TV series including Monarca, Loli's Luck and José José: The Prince of the Song.
Her first on-screen role was in the 1982 film Hotel Villa Goerne.
In 2004, she won the Ariel award for her performance in Nicotina. The Ariel is the most important film award in Mexico.
She was married to theater director Luis de Tavira. She has two sons, one of whom is actor José María de Tavira.
Her co-stars in Loli's Luck include Osvaldo Benavides and Silvia Navarro.
