Blues and rock guitarist who founded the Irish rock band Taste who is also known for his solo albums, like Blueprint.
Gallagher was given his first guitar when he was nine years old. Later, he toured with a rotating cast of cover bands.
In the highlight of his career, Taste shared the stage with Cream in their farewell performance at the Royal Albert Hall.
Both of his parents were singers and his father also played the accordion.
While a solo artist, Gallagher worked with artists like Jerry Lee Lewis.
