Ronen Sen

India's ambassador to the United States of America from 2004 to 2009 who is best known for his contribution to the U.S.-India nuclear deal. He began working in the private sector as a Director of Tata Motors in 2010.
He joined the Indian Foreign Service in July 1966.
He garnered controversy over his their "headless chicken" remarks in 2007 and was issued notice by the Parliamentary Privileges Committee.
He married a woman named Kalpana, an airhostess with Indian Airlines.
He and fellow politician Vijay Mallya both graduated from St. Xavier's College in Calcutta.
