Romero Britto
Pop Artist
Miami-based pop artist who rose to fame through his work on behalf of Absolut Vodka's Absolut Art Ad Campaign. Besides pop art, he also incorporated graffiti and cubism into his work.
He dropped out of law school to study art in Europe.
His work appeared in galleries in several U.S. states, as well as in museums in England, South Korea, Sweden, and Brazil.
He was born in Brazil and grew up with eight siblings. He married Cheryl Britto and he has a son named Brendan.
He collaborated with pop singer Chris Brown on a 2013 art project sponsored by the Symphonic Love Foundation.
