Made their by a 2010, award-winning Edinburgh Fringe Festival comedy show titled Hero, Warrior, Fireman, Liar, she also appeared in such British comedy television programs as Impractical Jokers and Have I Got News for You.
Following her career-making Edinburgh Fringe performance, she gained a wider audience by taking her stand-up act to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
In the thirty-year period from 1980 until 2010, she was one of only a handful of women to earn a comedy award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
She grew up in London, England, where she found entertainment representation with the Avalon Group.
