First known as a founding member of the Filipino dance group the SexBomb Girls, she later ventured in the rap circuit under the pseudonym RoC. She has also gone on to star in numerous television series and has become particularly known for her leading roles in Amaya and Darna.
Active in dance contests from an early age, she first earned success at fourteen after she scored a job on the variety show Eat Bulaga.
In 2007, she released her debut solo rap album Roc-A-Holic.
Growing up in a poor family, her father, Rodolfo, was an alcoholic and abuser. After her parents' separation, he sobered up, but later died of emphysema in 2007. One of three children, her younger brother Michael is also a singer.
In 2016, she was cast alongside Miguel Tanfelix in the Philippine romantic drama Wish I May.
