Canadian international defender who won a bronze medal with her country at the 2012 Olympic Games. She also played for the team at the 2008 Olympics and 2007, 2011, and 2015 World Cups.
She attended the University of North Carolina, where she was a three-year starter and part of the 2006 national title team.
She's played professionally with the Ottawa Fury, Vancouver Whitecaps, and Washington Spirit. She won a gold medal in 2011 at the Pan American games.
She was born to Glen and Lona Gayle and has two brothers.
She and Carmelina Moscato have played together on Canada's back line.
