Samba artist who built a rabid fanbase through such releases as Sambas e Bossas (2004) and Pra se Ter Alegria (2009). Her album Delírio no Circo (2016) was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award for Best Samba/Pagode Album.
She began her career by competing on the Globo TV reality show Fama.
She won the Brazilian Music Award for Best Female Samba Singer in 2017.
She was previously married to Pedro Luís Teixeira de Oliveira.
She sang with Mariza on the song "Arms Wide Open."
