Robert Page
Politician
Federalist politician who served his home state of Virginia as a first-district Member of the United States House of Representatives. He held the position from 1799 until 1801.
After graduating from the College of William and Mary, he led a Virginia militia unit in the American Revolutionary War.
In 1795, he served in the Virginia House of Delegates.
He grew up in Mathews County (then Gloucester County) in eastern Virginia. He died at the age of seventy-five in northern Virginia's Clarke County.
He and Richard Bland were both Virginia-born planters and politicians.
