Point guard who played for seven NBA teams from 1991 to 2004: the Portland Trail Blazers, Denver Nuggets, Washington Bullets, New Jersey Nets, Dallas Mavericks, Minnesota Timberwolves and New Orleans Hornets.
He played college basketball for two years at Tyler Junior College, and for two more at USC.
Following his playing career he took up coaching, and he made his NBA sideline debut in 2009, as an assistant for the New Orleans Hornets.
He was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana.
In 1994, as a teammate of Dikembe Mutombo, he helped the Denver Nuggets become the first eight-seed in NBA history to defeat a one-seed in a playoff series.
