Robert Dipierdomenico
Australian Rules Footballer
Former Australian rules footballer nicknamed "Dipper" who won five AFL Premierships with Hawthorn from 1975 to 1991. He was inducted into the Australian Football Hall of Fame in 2007 and was named to the VFL/AFL Italian Team of the Century.
He was born in Hawthorn, Victoria and attended Swinburne Tech before playing for East Hawthorn as a teenager.
He has served as an ambassador for the The Alannah and Madeline Foundation, created to protect children from violence.
He met his wife Cheryl at Swinburne Tech.
He won multiple AFL Premierships alongside Hawthorn teammate Jason Dunstall.
