Famous for voicing Spud and several other characters in the children's television series Bob the Builder, this British voice actor also contributed to numerous other animated series, including The Octonauts, Watership Down, and The Legends of Treasure Island.
He began his voice acting career in the early 1990s, contributing to such animated programs and video games as, respectively, Friendly Monsters: A Monster Holiday and Realms of the Haunting.
He penned episodes of two animated series: Fantomcat and Avenger Penguins.
He was born and raised in Sunderland, England.
He and Keith Wickham both voiced characters in the BBC Children's series The Secret Show.
