She began pursuing art seriously following her high school graduation. She originally began blogging to her Rita Bored site.
She has seen her wastedrita Instagram account grow to boast more than 70,000 followers for showcasing her artwork. She has been represented by Underdogs Gallery in Lisbon.
She was originally born and raised in Porto, Portgual.
