Known best for voicing the characters of Spider-Man and Batman in the animated television series versions of the superhero stories, he also narrated the Curious George cartoon series that aired on the PBSKids channel beginning in 2006.
Early in his career, he voiced roles in such animated series as Tales from the Cryptkeeper and Ultraforce.
A screen actor as well as a voice artist, he appeared in several television movies and in two episodes of NYPD Blue.
He was born into an Italian family in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
He and Tracy Moore both voiced characters in the English version of the popular Sailor Moon Japanese anime series.
