Character actor who gained fame for his ability to imitate accents and appeared in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. His other credits include Lethal Weapon 4, Unfaithfully Yours, and DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp.
After graduation, he was cast on MAD magazine's Off-Broadway production of The MAD Show.
In addition to stage and film, he appeared on TV's Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
He had one child with Melinda Dillon before their divorce in 1978.
He appeared alongside Chevy Chase in the 1980s Fletch comedies.
