Richard R. Ernst

Physical chemist who received the 1991 Nobel Prize for Chemistry for his development of multi-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance techniques. He was a professor at ETH Zurich, a university in Switzerland.
He studied at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich.
The documentary Science Plus Dharma Equals Social Responsibility focused on his life as a scientist in Switzerland.
He had three children, Anna, Katharina, and Hans-Martin, with wife, Magdalena.
Madame Curie is also a recipient of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
