Before starting his own line, he designed for the international brand Marc by Marc Jacobs.
In 2010, he was the winner of the Council of Fashion Designers of America Designer of the Year Award for Menswear.
He was born and raised in New York.
He worked as a designer for Cristiano Ronaldo's labels Underwear & Socks in 2013 and Shirts in 2014.
