Ricardo Jimenez Oreamuno
Politician
Politician who served as President of Costa Rica on three separate occasions: 1910 to 1914, 1924 to 1928, and 1932 to 1936. During his time as President he created the National Insurance Bank and founded the Ministry of Health.
He was a prominent lawyer.
He was faced during his first term in 1910 with the rebuilding of one of the biggest cities in Costa Rica when it was hit by an earthquake.
His father, Jesus Jimenez, was also a two-time president.
He, like Oscar Arias, has served as President of Costa Rica multiple times.
