Director and screenwriter whose credits include the 1988 film Berlin Blues and the 1984 film Gringo mojado. He died while filming Lagrimas negras in 1998.
He directed his first film, Gospel, el monstruo, in 1969.
As a songwriter, he created the lyrics for "Tam Tam Go!" and other pop songs.
His uncle is director and writer Jesus Franco.
