Children's book author and illustrator who is known for having published the popular book Teal (A book about a little crayon that makes a big difference) that was also a Mom's Choice Award Winner. She is also known for running the Carrie Hands YouTube channel where she shares child focused programming for her over 550,000 subscribers.
She started her career as an Art Therapist, earning her degree in the field from Illinois State University. She then started her career as an author in June of 2013 when she published her first book. She expanded and created her YouTube channel in January of 2018.
She won the Mom's Choice Award for her book Teal which was listed as the Best Children's Picture Book during their 2016 ceremony.
She shared a photo of her son to Instagram in January of 2019.
Aaron Reynolds is a fellow children's book writer and illustrator who is also known for having worked out of Chicago.
