Latvian pop singer and songwriter best known as the former lead singer of the band Brainstorm.
He graduated from the University of Latvia with a degree in journalism.
He hosted the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 in Riga, Latvia.
He married Agnese Kaupers. The couple has three sons.
He and Del Marquis are both Latvian musicians.
