Critically acclaimed Malayalam and Tamil film star who rose to fame as a child and became known for her roles in 2011's Traffic and Chaappa Kurish. She has also led films like Sethupathi and Telugabbai.
She began her career as a child acting in the 2000 film Sayahnam. Her early career was characterized by appearances in Malayalam films, though she later moved into Tamil films.
In 2012, she made her debut as a playback singer with the song "Aande Londe" for the film Ivan Megharoopan.
She was born in Kerala, India to Subrahmaniam Unni and Jayasree. Her father was a theatre artist and her brother, Rahul, has worked as a music director and playback singer.
She starred opposite Vijay Sethupathi in his 2016 film Sethupathi.
