He starred in the 2007 film, Rocket Science, and appeared in the 2009 film, Assassinations of a High School President. In 2012, he played Craig in The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
He became interested in acting when he was a young boy in Vancouver, and appeared regularly in background roles for local productions before signing with an agent.
He co-founded Jitterbug Productions, an online comedy group.
His mother worked for a film society that brought independent movies to Vancouver.
He co-starred with Logan Lerman in the 2012 film The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
