Entrepreneur who headed Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) and the racing league IndyCar. He was also in charge of IndyCar's ICONIC Project, which reintroduced Chevrolet-make cars to the Indy race.
After succeeding Tony George as CEO of the Indy Racing League, he changed the league's name to IndyCar.
The Board of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway relieved him of his duties as IndyCar CEO in 2012.
Before presiding over the Indiana-based IndyCar league, he served for over a decade as head of Professional Bull Riders, Inc., a Colorado-based organization.
He organized a 2011 Las Vegas Izod IndyCar World Championship in which race car driver Dan Wheldon was tragically killed.
