Outfielder who has gained renown for his time with the Tampa Bay Rays, including during their 2020 World Series run. He finished was named the 2020 ALCS MVP.
He signed with the St. Louis Cardinals as an international free agent out of Cuba in 2016. He made his major league debut with the club in August 2019.
He surpassed Derek Jeter for the most hits in the postseason by a rookie during the 2020 World Series with the Tampa Bay Rays. He also recorded the most hits in a postseason during the 2020 World Series game 5.
He has a daughter named Lia. His brother is soccer goalie Raiko Arozarena.
He played alongside Kevin Kiermaier for the Tampa Bay Rays during their 2020 season.
