Guitarist remembered for his work with the new wave band Pylon. He also performed with two other Georgia-based bands: Supercluster and Soundhouses.
He attended the University of Georgia, where he studied art and roomed with his future Pylon co-founder, Michael Lachowski.
His albums with Pylon include Chomp More and Gyrate Plus.
He died following a car crash caused by a heart attack and was survived by his family.
He and Pylon toured with Bono and U2.
