Colombian striker also known by the name Falcao Garcia who joined AS Monaco in 2013 after playing for Atlético Madrid for two years. He's played on loan for Manchester United and Chelsea FC. In September 2019, he joined Turkey's Galatasaray on a three-year contract.
He began his youth career with River Plate at the age of 15.
He became a member of the Colombian national team in 2007. He was named GQ Sportsman of the Year in 2012.
He married Lorelei Taron in 2013 and they have three daughters named Dominique, Desirée and Annette.
He broke Jurgen Klinsmann's record for goals (15) in a single UEFA Europa League tournament when he scored 17 goals in 14 games during the 2010-2011 tilt.
