Rachelle DiStasio
Dancer
Professional ballet dancer who became an apprentice at the American Ballet Theatre (ABT) Studio Company. Her more notable performances include the world premiere of Rondo Capriccioso choreographed by Alexei Ratmansky and La Vie Petillante by Raymond Lukens.
She made her professional debut in 2010 at the age of 13 playing the role of Clara for Nashville Ballet's The Nutcracker.
Her first dance recital was The Nutcracker.
She was born in Palo Alto, California and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. She began her formal ballet training at the age of eight at the School of Nashville Ballet.
She was accepted into the ABT's Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis (JKO) School and offered a full scholarship at 16 years old.
