She was discovered by a manager at age 8, when she was acting in a regional theatre production. She was cast in her first major film role about 3 months later.
She had starred in 5 Broadway productions by the time she was 14.
She has a sister named Danielle.
She appeared alongside Curb Your Enthusiasm's Larry David in Fish in the Dark.
