Celebrity fitness personality, CEO and founder of Rachel Murray's Cause Fitness LLC. She has also been a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach since 2008. She is an author of several fitness books, including Cause Fitness: Thinspo to Fitspo and Cause Fitness: Bikinis & Fboardshorts.
She was born into an athletic family and did a variety of sports growing up. She learned to swim before she could even walk. She studied communications at Washington State University while also doing intramural sports.
She has been a fitness model and represented by Wilhelmina NY.
She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma as the oldest of four to parents Stephen and Karen Murray. Her father was an army surgeon and triathlete, her mother was a second grade teacher. She moved seven times before she was a teenager due to her father's job. Both of her grandparents were also athletes.
She and Jillian Michaels have both gained fame for being fitness trainers.
