He was promoted to the senior team of the MSP Batna when he was 16 years old.
He played for the Algerian national team.
He grew up with his family in Batna, Algeria.
His Algerian national team was eliminated from the 2010 FIFA World Cup by the United States on a goal scored by Landon Donovan.
