Forward who played two years of college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats before being selected 12th overall in the 2019 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Hornets.
He graduated from Findlay Prep in Henderson, Nevada. He played in the Jordan Brand Classic and McDonald's All-American game in 2017.
He won a gold medal representing the U.S. at the FIBA Americas U18 Championship.
His parents are Sherry and Paul Washington, both of whom played basketball at Middle Tennessee State. He has siblings named Spencer, Tyler and Alexandria.
He was coached by John Calipari at Kentucky.
