Polish midfielder who gained prominence in the Italian Serie A league as a member of Udinese. In 2016, he transferred to rival Serie A club Napoli for more than 16 million Euros.
He began his youth soccer career in 2003. He first played as a member of the polish club Orzeł Ząbkowice Śląskie.
He debuted for Poland's senior national soccer team at midfield in 2013.
He was born and raised in Poland.
He made his first career Serie A appearance for Udinese in 2012 when he checked in as a late-game replacement for Antonio Di Natale.
