Former NHL center who was a five-time All-Star with the Buffalo Sabres, New York Islanders, Montreal Canadiens and St. Louis Blues.
He amassed more than 150 points in 58 games in the Quebec Junior Hockey League.
His best season came with the New York Islanders in 1992-93, when he tallied 58 goals and 74 assists in 83 games.
He raised four children with his wife Elisabeth.
He went to the New York Islanders in a trade that sent Pat LaFontaine to the Buffalo Sabres.
