Singaporean actor and comedian who is known for his work on several Channel 5 and Channel 8 original series. He is also known for his feature film appearances including as Michael Two in Crazy Rich Asians and Dr. Eak in the 2002 film The Eye.
He attended Holy Innocents' High School where he developed his passion for theater. His acting debut came in 1998 when he starred as the character Richard in the film Forever Fever.
He is known for having won the Best Actor in a Supporting Role award at the 2013 Asian Television Awards for his role as Chen Yanjun in the film C.L.I.F. 2.
He was born and raised in Singapore and married fellow actress Andrea De Cruz in 2003.
He starred alongside Constance Wu and Henry Golding in the 2018 feature film Crazy Rich Asians, his Hollywood feature debut.
