Canadian television host and singer best known for The Peter Martin Show, which aired in 1967 on New York's WPIX.
He briefly worked with his father in 1960 at the Canadian radio station CKLJ before hositng numerous programs on the television station CFTM-TV.
He hosted the English language programs The Pierre Lalonde Show and The Mad Dash.
His father, Jean Lalonde, was a well-known singer during the 1940s.
He and William Shatner were both born in Montreal, Quebec.
