Peter Prevc
Skier
Slovenian ski jumper who won the 2016 Ski Jumping World Cup. He has also won three Ski flying World Cup titles in 2014, 2015 and 2016. He won his first two Olympic medals in silver and bronze at the 2014 Olympics.
He grew up in the village of Dolenja Vas and began ski jumping when he was 9 years old. He joined the SK Triglav Kranj ski jumping club at age 10.
In February 2015, he set a world record by becoming the first ski jumper ever to achieve a jump of 250 meters.
He is the oldest of five children. His brothers Domen and Cene Prevc are also ski jumpers.
In the 2011-2012 season, he was on a World Cup team with Robert Kranjec, winning Slovenia their first ever World Cup team victory.
