Violinist who has been a pioneer in Slovak jazz and who has been the recipient of many ZAI awards.
He released his first album in 1983 called Neúprosné ráno.
He has has three albums included in The 100 Greatest Slovak Albums of All Time list.
He was born in Prešov.
Lipa and Freddie Hubbard both have played jazz trumpet.
