Known for his roles as Zed and Dorian Tyrell in, respectively, Pulp Fiction and The Mask, this popular character actor also appeared in the NBC television series The Black Donnellys. Additionally, he received critical acclaim for his starring role as schizophrenic Peter Winter in the 1993 film Clean, Shaven.
He began acting in his twenties. His early screen credits include roles in such 1990s films as Laws of Gravity and Judgment Night.
He battled drug addiction during the early years of his career.
He was born in Montclair, New Jersey, to a family of Irish Catholic heritage.
He appeared with Martin Lawrence in the 1999 movie Blue Streak.
